Course Overview

Our Emergency Care courses offer participants practical, easy-to-follow procedures in a relaxed and supportive environment, ensuring they gain confidence while mastering essential life-saving skills.

Primary Care (CPR) – This course focuses on life-threatening emergencies. You will learn and practice eight critical techniques to assist patients who aren’t breathing, whose hearts have stopped, or who may have spinal injuries, severe bleeding, or shock. The training equips you with the skills to perform CPR and monitor the patient’s condition while awaiting emergency medical services, significantly improving their chances of survival.

Secondary Care (First Aid) – Learn to manage non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, especially when emergency services may be delayed or unavailable. This course focuses on first aid techniques that reduce pain and prevent further injury. You’ll gain hands-on experience with bandaging and splinting while learning to assess a range of conditions.

Care for Children – Designed for those working with or caring for children, this course teaches how to respond to emergencies involving infants and young children. It is often combined with Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) training.

CPR & AED – This course covers both CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), ensuring participants meet workplace or regulatory requirements. You will learn the skills necessary to operate an AED in emergency situations.

EFR Refresher – To stay prepared, it’s recommended to refresh your CPR and first aid skills every 24 months. Our EFR Refresher course ensures your knowledge stays current, so you’re ready to help when needed.

Course Duration The PADI EFR course is a one-day (approx. 6 hours) training, including hands-on practice and knowledge sessions using manuals, videos, reference cards, and instructor demonstrations.
