CONGLETON - An Introduction to Scuba Diving

Perfect for beginners, the Padi Discover Scuba Diving programme is an entry level into the wonderful world of scuba diving. This course also makes a great GIFT and is definitely better than socks! Take advantage of this introductory offer price of just £25pp (usual price £45pp).

This is a short but informative course and consists of a small amount of e-learning study with online course materials, along with approximately 1 hour in the pool.  During which time you will be taught how to safely use the equipment and take your first breaths underwater. Followed by learning how to complete some basic water skills which are used regularly in Open Water training. Details of which will be shown in the online course materials. 

This short course offers the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of scuba diving, equipping you with the essential skills, knowledge and understanding before committing to a full programme.  

Students must be a minimum of 10 years old.
No previous scuba experience is required but students must be confident in the water.

For children under the age of 10 please ask about our junior equivalent, entry level course - Bubblemaker. Suitable for 8-10 years.

All equipment and pool entry is provided. All you need is your swimwear and an old t-shirt or rash vest (optional) and a bottle of water/juice. Spectators welcome in the viewing area. Parental consent will be required for anyone under 16 and a responsible adult needs to remain on the premises for the duration of the dive.

T&C's - Can not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Cancellations not notified within 2 working days of the dive will still be charged for in full. This is a special public, introductory event, meaning any content taken on the day may be used for marketing & training purposes, therefore digital consent is a compulsory requirement for this event. Due to the number of participants expected I’m afraid that we will not have the time or resources available to exclude isolated guest members, and when divers are kitted up they are extremely difficult to identify.

Timely submission of diver information and required forms is crucial, preferably via email response, and no later than 7 days before the scheduled dive. Failure to provide this information within the specified timeframe may regrettably lead to exclusion from the dive, as we do not keep any dive equipment on-site.

We would also like to emphasise the significance of punctuality for this event and kindly ask participants to arrive within the designated start time to allow for the prompt start of the mandatory safety briefing. Please note that, regrettably, late arrivals will not be accommodated due to limitations in time and resources for individual briefings and equipment setup.
