Course Content:

• E-learning home study
• 5 confined water dives taken over 2 pool sessions @ Poynton Leisure Centre
• Complete your Open Water dives at an overseas dive site of your choice  (Price for this element will vary depending on dive centre status & location)

1. Booking & Information Requirements

1.       All requested information (including accurate size and personal details for the diver) must be submitted within the stated deadlines. Approximations will not be accepted.

2.       Bookings may be cancelled without refund if required information, course elements (such as e-learning), or payments are not submitted on time.

3.       It is your responsibility to ensure that the participant and/or any other adults involved are aware of all deadlines and booking instructions provided in the confirmation email.

2. Medical Forms & Health Declarations

4.       All medical and registration forms must be completed in the diver's name only. Forms completed under a parent/guardian name will not be accepted.

5.       The full three pages of the online medical form must be carefully read and understood before submission.

6.       If any question on the form is answered “yes,” a signed medical evaluation form from a doctor is required. This must be obtained independently and may take time.

7.       Once submitted, medical forms and admissions cannot be changed.

8.       We reserve the right to refuse participation if the required medical clearance is not received or if a participant is deemed medically unfit.

3. E-Learning Requirements

9.       All e-learning modules must be completed by the deadlines stated in the booking confirmation email.

10.   Technical support is handled by overseas centres and may take time. Please do not leave completion until the last minute.

4. Arrival and Session Timings

11.   Participants must arrive on time for their training sessions. Late arrivals will not be allowed entry, and the session will be forfeited without refund.

12.   Participation in the mandatory safety briefing and pool induction is essential.

5. Attendance, Cancellations & No-Shows

13.   Cancellations must be made at least three working days in advance (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Late cancellations will be charged in full.

14.   Participants who fail to attend their session ("no-shows") will also be charged in full.

6. Equipment Use & Responsibility

15.   All scuba diving equipment provided during the course is Scubacheshire’s property and is classified as specialist, life-saving equipment.

16.   Each participant is responsible for the care and respect of the equipment they use for the full duration of the course.

17.   Any intentional damage to equipment will result in charges being made to cover the cost of repair or replacement.

18.   Ongoing neglect, misuse, or disrespect of the equipment will be considered a serious safety breach. This may lead to exclusion from training and failure of the course.

19.   Respect for the equipment and procedures is considered an integral part of the training.

7. Additional Training Charges

20.   If a participant requires further training outside the standard course sessions, additional fees apply:

21.   £45 per person per additional pool session

22.   £95 per person per additional open water dive

8. Fees, Refunds & Termination

23.   Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise agreed at the discretion of the company owner.

24.   No partial refunds or credits are issued for incomplete courses.

25.   We reserve the right to cancel or terminate a booking without refund if the participant fails to meet required deadlines or comply with course rules.

9. Acceptance of Terms & Governing Law

26.   By signing this agreement or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms, as well as those in your booking confirmation email.

27.   These Terms are governed by Scubacheshire Ltd policies and follow strict PADI protocols and procedures.

28.   Any disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of the relevant UK jurisdiction.
